Alton Lister (full name: Alton Lavelle Lister; no nicknames) played Center-Forward from 1982 until 1998 for the Milwaukee Bucks, Seattle Supersonics, Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics and Portland Trail Blazers. Over 16 seasons, he played 953 games, scored 6298 points (6.6 ppg) and grabbed 5996 rebounds (6.3 rpg). Lister also dished out 914 assists (1.0 apg), made 351 steals (0.4 spg), and blocked 1473 shots (1.5 bpg) during his career. Born in Dallas, Texas on October 1, 1958, Lister stands 7-0 and weighs 240 lbs. He attended high school at Woodrow Wilson in Dallas, Texas and college at Arizona State University. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1st round (21st pick, 21st overall) of the 1981 NBA draft.
