Alex Zhamnov (full name: Alex Zhamnov; no nicknames) played center from 1993 until 2006 for the Winnipeg Jets, Chicago Blackhawks, Philadelphia Flyers and Boston Bruins. He played for the Jets from 1993 - 1996, Blackhawks from 1997 - 2004, Flyers in 2004 and Bruins in 2006. Over 13 seasons, he played 807 games, scored 249 goals, and made 470 assists. Born in Moscow, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on October 1, 1970, Zhamnov stands 6-1 and weighs 204 lbs. He was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the 4th round (77th overall) of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft.
