Alexander Luis Gonzalez, a six-footer baseball player who was born at Cagua, Venezuela. He bats and throws with his right hand. He had his debut in the Major Baseball League on August 25, 1998.
He started his professional term playing with the Marlins of Dominican Summer League with records .238 bat with nine doubles, five triples, and four homeruns. He also had an RBI of 39 in a total of 66 games.
Sadly in 2002, his left shoulder got dislocated so he only played in 42 games. The dislocation was an injury he got after trying to dive for a ball. He only had two homeruns in the said year with RBIs of 18. In the middle of the year he underwent through a surgery and got his shoulder repaired.

People were amazed with his offensive and defensive going really strong in numbers which really contributed to the victory of Marlins in the World Championship.
