Professional basketball player Aleksandar Radojević started his career in sports playing water polo and soccer as a young boy and only turned to playing basketball when he was 16 years old. Radojević was born on August 8, 1976 but the place of his birth is registered in the former Socialist Federl Republic of Yugoslavia but the place was not clearly identified. He was either born in Bijela,Montenegro; Herceg Novi, or Trebinje, in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Standing at 7’3 in center, Radojević’s career in basketball started in the 1995-96 season with the Cetinje KK Lovecen, moving on to Budućnost Podgorica for the next season where he played irregularly for some games., Radojević was marked ineligible to play for the Ohio State University’s famous Buckeyes because the NCAA in 1996, he accepted about $9,000 or $13,000 for playing for Budućnost. He played instead for the Barton Community College for the next two seasons.

In 1999, the Toronto Raptors selected Radojević for the first round but he got injured and appeared only in three games. The Raptors traded him in January, 2001 to Denver Nuggets who traded him off to Milwaukee Bucks later. Radojević also played for the Slovenia’s Olimpija Ljubljana, the Italian League’s Basket (Mabo) Livorno, German Bundesliga’sTelekom Baskets Bonn, the Greek League’s PAOK Thessaloniki, Utah Jazz, and other teams.
