Al Santorini (full name: Alan Joel Santorini; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1968 until 1973 for the Atlanta Braves, San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Braves in 1968, Padres from 1969 - 1971 and Cardinals from 1971 - 1973. Over 6 seasons, he started 70 games, won 17 games, struck out 268 batters, and had a 4.29 ERA. Born on May 19, 1948 in Irvington, NJ, Santorini stands 6' 0" and weighs 190 lb. He attended Union (Union, NJ) high school and was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 1st round (11th pick) of the 1966 amateur draft.
