Al MacNeil (full name: Al MacNeil; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1956 until 1968 for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Black Hawks, New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins. He played for the Leafs from 1956 - 1960, Canadies in 1962, Black Hawks from 1963 - 1966, Rangers in 1967 and Penguins in 1968. Over 11 seasons, he played 524 games, scored 17 goals, and made 75 assists. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia on September 27, 1935, MacNeil stands 5-10 and weighs 183 lbs.
