About Al Javery:

Al Javery (full name: Alva William Javery; Beartracks) played pitcher from 1940 until 1946 for the Boston Bees and Boston Braves. He played for the Bees in 1940 and Braves from 1941 - 1946. Over 7 seasons, he started 147 games, won 53 games, struck out 470 batters, and had a 3.80 ERA. Born on June 5, 1918 in Worcester, MA (All Transactions), Javery stood 6' 3" and weighed 183 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 23, 1940 and he played his final game on May 8, 1946. Common misspellings of his name include Alva Al Beartracks alphonse allen allan alberto alan William Javery.
