Al Hollingsworth (full name: Albert Wayne Hollingsworth; Boots) played pitcher from 1935 until 1946 for the Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, Brooklyn Dodgers, Washington Senators, St. Louis Browns and Chicago White Sox. He played for the Reds from 1935 - 1938, Phillies from 1938 - 1939, Dodgers in 1939, Senators in 1940, Browns from 1942 - 1946 and White Sox in 1946. Over 11 seasons, he started 185 games, won 70 games, struck out 608 batters, and had a 3.99 ERA. Born on February 25, 1908 in St. Louis, MO (All Transactions), Hollingsworth stood 6' 0" and weighed 174 lb. He attended high school.
