About Al Cervi:
Al Cervi (full name: Alfred Nicholas Cervi; Al, Digger) played Guard-Forward from 1950 until 1953 for the Syracuse Nationals. Over 4 seasons, he played 202 games, scored 1591 points (7.9 ppg) and grabbed 261 rebounds (1.3 rpg). Cervi also dished out 648 assists (3.2 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Buffalo, New York on February 12, 1917, Cervi stands 5-11 and weighs 170 lbs. He attended high school at East in Buffalo, New York. He was inducted into Hall of Fame as Player in 1985.
