Al Attles (full name: Alvin A. Attles Jr.; Al, Destroyer) played Guard from 1961 until 1971 for the Philadelphia Warriors and San Francisco Warriors. Over 11 seasons, he played 711 games, scored 6328 points (8.9 ppg) and grabbed 2463 rebounds (3.5 rpg). Attles also dished out 2483 assists (3.5 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Newark, New Jersey on November 7, 1936, Attles stands 6-0 and weighs 175 lbs. He attended high school at Weequahic in Newark, New Jersey and college at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Warriors in the 5th round (7th pick, 39th overall) of the 1960 NBA draft.
