About Ahmad Carroll Memorabilia & Collectibles

A cornerback from Atlanta, Georgia, Ahmad Raheem Carroll is one of the most-distinguished personalities in the Canadian Football League. He was born on August 4, 1983 and is currently playing under the Calgary Stampeders; a team based in Calgary, Alberta and is formerly referred to as the Bronks until 1944. Among its row of excellent players include Willie Burden, a running back from Raleigh, North Carolina, Doug Flutie, a quarterback from Manchester, Maryland as well as Wayne Harris, linebacker from Hampton Arkansas.

Ahmad Carroll has had his start in the CFL when he was selected by the Green Bay Packers during an amateur draft in the year 2004. He stayed with the said group for two years and was transferred to the Jacksonville in 2006. The team usually plays in Florida and is a member of the American Football Conference under the South Division. After his career with the group, he then went to the Orlando Predators which is part of the Arena Football League.

On March 16, 2009, Ahmad Carroll was absorbed by the New York Jets. However, months later after his contract signing, Carroll was waived by the Jets due to some reasons. His performance in the football league had been very limited because of some incidents of illegal drug possession. As a matter of fact, he was caught by the authorities in 2007 which caused giving up of his contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

He played 57 games, made 94 tackles, intercepted 3 passes, recovered 1 fumbles, and is credited with 3.0 quarterback sacks. Born in Atlanta, GA on August 4, 1983, Carroll stands 5'11 and weighs 190 lbs. He attended college at Arkansas. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 1st round (25th overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft.
