Ad Liska (full name: Adolph James Liska; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1931 until 1933 for the Washington Senators and Philadelphia Phillies. He played for the Senators in 1931 and Phillies from 1932 - 1933. Over 5 seasons, he started 28 games, won 17 games, struck out 104 batters, and had a 3.87 ERA. Born on July 10, 1906 in Dwight, NE, Liska stood 5' 11" and weighed 160 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on April 17, 1929 and he played his final game on September 24, 1933. Over his career, Liska made $4,200. Common misspellings of his name include Adolph Ad James Liska.
