Abe Woodson (fullname: Abraham Benjamin Woodson; no nicknames) played Defensive Back from 1958 until 1966 for the San Francisco 49ers and St. Louis Cardinals. He played 116 games, intercepted 19 passes and recovered 15 fumbles. Born in Jackson, MS on February 15, 1934, Woodson stands 5'11 and weighs 188 lbs. He attended college at Illinois. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2nd round (15th overall) of the 1957 NFL Draft.
