Aaron Voros (born July 2, 1981 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a professional ice hockey player who is currently playing as right winger for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Voros played youth hockey in the Surrey Minor Hockey Association back in his home city of Surrey, British Columbia. Voros took his college studies when he attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks where he played college hockey for three years. During his freshmen seasons, Voros was named in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association All-Rookie team.

 

Voros stands 6 ft. 4 in and weighs 215 lbs. He started his professional ice hockey career after he was originally drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft where he was the eight round pick of the team. Voros, however, was not able to make his pro debut with the Devils. And after his seven seasons the Devils’ rosters, on March 1, 2007, the Minnesota Wild initiated a trade for their seventh round draft pick player in the 2008 to the Devils in exchange for Voros. He started off the 2007 seasons in the American Hockey League with the Wild's affiliate, the Houston Aeros. But on November 11, 2007, Voros was called to play his first NHL game versus the Colorado Avalanche. Following his release in 2008, Voros joined the New York Rangers with the agreed three-year contract, sources say.
