Aaron Roosevelt Rouse is a professional American football player for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. He is from Virginia Beach, Virginia. He finished high school at the First Colonial High School and there won the Defensive Player of the Year in the Virginia Beach District. He lost to Kai Parham in the state level.

 

Rouse played for the Virginia Tech in college where he was named to the First Team All- Atlantic Coast Conference selection in 2005. The next season, however, he performed poorly against Georgia Tech and Boston College. He joined the 2007 NFL Draft and was selected in the third round as the 89th overall pick by the Green Bay Packers. In his first season, he was crucial to the Packers’ win against the Minnesota Vikings, Carolina Panthers, and the Detroit Lions. In 2008, he started the game against the Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After getting injured in a game against Tampa Bay, his next game was against the Seattle Seahawks and the Indianapolis Colts. He played against the Cincinnati Bengals before he was released. He then signed with the New York Giants in 2009 then with the Arizona Cardinals on August 2010. To date, Rouse has 90 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 7 pass deflections.

Aaron Rouse (fullname: Aaron Roosevelt Rouse; no nicknames) played Defensive Back from 2007 until 2009 for the Green Bay Packers and New York Giants. He played 41 games, made 146 tackles, intercepted 4 passes, recovered fumbles, and is credited with 1.0 quarterback sacks. Born in Norfolk, VA on January 8, 1984, Rouse stands 6'4 and weighs 223 lbs. He attended college at Virginia Tech. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 3rd round (89th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft.
