FAU to have sports memorabilia auction Saturday

BOCA RATON (staff report) - Florida Atlantic University's Third Annual Owl Club Auction will take place Saturday in FAU Arena. The event, which helps raise funds for student-athlete scholarships, will feature NFL great Bob Kuechenberg as the evening's special guest and speaker. More than $70,000 worth of items will be auctioned including vacation packages in Steamboat, Colo., and Acapulco, Mexico, autographed football helmets and other sports memorabilia.
