Topps Adds Phenom David Price

Topps has added Tampa Bay Rays pitching prospect David Price to its list of Autographed Letter Patches in the upcoming 2009 Topps Finest Baseball.

Finest Baseball, which Topps says will be improved in look and content for 2009, now guarantees (1) Rookie Autographed Letter Patch #’d to 299 or less in every mini box. Every autographed is signed directly on the patch and will feature parallels: Refractor, Blue Refractor, Red Refractor, Gold Refractor and 1 of 1 XFractor.

Also featured in the product are the popular Finest Moments Autographs, which includes Alex Rodriguez, Ryan Howard, Evan Longoria, David Ortiz and others.

Rookie Redemptions (1 per Master Box) are back, this time with Refractor (#’d to 199) and Gold Refractor versions (#’d to 50. Topps says player performance in the upcoming World Baseball Classic will influence its decisions on which players are eventually depicted.

2009 Topps Finest Baseball carries a $50 SRP for each mini box (each Master box will include 2 mini boxes) and ships mid-April.
