If the first month of the season is any indication, David Wright seems to be on the way back to being…well…David Wright.   But overall, the star power on the Mets lags well behind their New York neighbors.

Enter Ike Davis.

He didn’t come up with Jeter-like hype, but the slugging first baseman is getting his chance to show what he can do and seems to be making the most of it.

Davis is hitting over .300 and helping the Mets stay relevant in the National League East.  Fans are noticing…and so are collectors.

Davis has already signed some items for one memorabilia company.
