Hunt Auctions is again teaming with NFL Auction and NFL PLAYERS to produce the Super Bowl XLV Live Auction at NFL Experience, located at
The auction will have more than 600 lots, with items ranging from the earliest period of the game in the late 1800s through 2010. Among the highlights:
“Both the live and online auctions showcase the very best in vintage materials and modern era items that we feel confident will be of great interest to NFL fans,” said David Hunt, president of Hunt Auctions.
Three hundred live auction items will be on display. Admission to the preview is free with a paid ticket to the NFL Experience. In addition, Hunt Auctions will run a complimentary appraisal fair for fans who want to learn more about their own sports collectibles. A limited number of items will be accepted on consignment for the auction. On Saturday, Feb 5, 2011, the live auction opens for public bidding at 3 p.m. CST. Bids can either be made in person at NFL Experience on Saturday, via telephone at 610-524-0822, or online at www.HuntAuctions.com up until Thursday, Feb. 3 at 10 p.m. CST. “We are pleased to provide a compelling auction experience for our fans,” said Pete Quaglierini, NFL manager of NFL Auction. “Our fans exhibit their passion for the NFL and its history year after year and we are happy to give them the opportunity to own merchandise from their favorite stars, all while assisting worthwhile charities.”
