Sports Memorabilia Auction Helps Out Ex-NFL Players

Miller Lite and the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund are teaming up this month to raise money for retired football players who are in need of medical care, food, clothing, shelter and other basic needs.

The Milwaukee-based company will hold a series of eBay online sports memorabilia and experience auctions with proceeds benefiting the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund. The initial auctions go live January 21.

Featured auctions include:

-- A Harley-Davidson motorcycle signed by a select group of NFL legends.

-- An original play hand-drawn by legendary coach Vince Lombardi. The play was drawn by Lombardi himself on graph paper. A certificate of authenticity signed by Vince Lombardi Jr. is included

-- Several helmets, jerseys and footballs signed by individual Hall of
Famers.

-- Super Party helmets signed by Lawrence Taylor, Barry
Sanders, Dick Butkus, Ted Hendricks, Kellen Winslow, Dan Hampton, Fred
Belitnikoff, Anthony Munoz, Michael Irvin, Jim McMahon, Jan Stenerud,
Eric Dickerson, Marshall Faulk, Franco Harris, Deacon Jones and Earl
Campbell.

-- Access for four days to a Luxury Gulf Stream RV for the winner and 19
friends at Westgate's "Tailgate City," which includes a VIP Happy Hour
each day, a private autograph session with Matt Leinart and
other prizes. (Travel not included.)

-- VIP packages to the Miller Lite Super Party VIP area, including free
food and beverages and meet-and-greets with Hall of Famers. (Travel
not included.)

Throughout the week leading up to the game, Miller Lite will host meet and greets featuring former players at locations around the Phoenix area, raising money and awareness for the Gridiron Greats cause in conjuction with Super Bowl XLII.
