Bobby Rouillard bought it from an antique dealer who had gotten it in Nova Scotia. Now he's taking that curved piece of wood, carbon dated to a time between 1633 and 1666 and putting it on eBay as the world's oldest hockey stick.
It's a title that should sound familiar. Another stick carrying the same billing sold just last year.
Skeptics abound, but Rouillard told the CanWest news service that he believes it just proves what many have thought for years--that hockey dates much further back than most historians think.
