NEM Baseball League reunion Sunday

The Northeastern Michigan Baseball League annual reunion and banquet is this Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Arenac County Historical Society in Omer.

Ken Fegan of Pinconning, Clare Herriman of Tawas City, Pete Peterson of Mikado, Jim Grier of Standish, Ron Van Horn of Standish, and Ken Van Horn of Bentley will be inducted into the NEM Hall of Fame.

Everyone attending will be eligible for Detroit Tigers' and Great Lakes Loons' tickets and memorabilia, and George Kell pictures and memorabilia.

The NEM League was formed in 1916 and was active until 1986. Thousands of players from Alpena to Saginaw participated.
