MANNING INKED TO MEMORABILIA DEAL
By JOSEPH BARRACATO
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, already the NFL's No. 1 pitchman, has lengthened his lead - before he even takes the field in today's Super Bowl.
Steiner Sports, the New Rochelle-based memorabilia company, has inked the 30-year-old super star to an exclusive, multi-year collectibles deal.
Terms weren't disclosed.
Steiner already has similar deals with Peyton's brother Eli, QB for the New York Giants, and their father, Archie.
Peyton, who earned $11.5 million in 2005 from endorsement deals, according to Sports Illustrated, will profit from autographed footballs from $549 and helmets with his John Hancock for $819.
