They represented two different eras, but the guests at the Ramada Hotel in Kelowana, British Columbia agreed on one thing: there are plenty of differences between today's game at the NHL's past.

Boston Bruins' great Gerry Cheevers along with fellow goaltending sensation Bernie Parent and the legendary Ted Lindsay were busy kept busy signing autographs for collectors and fans Saturday.

“We never had concussions in our time,” Lindsay said of today's NHL. “There was respect for the body and we kept our sticks on the ice, that was the difference.”

The three signed everything from jerseys to replicas of the Stanley Cup during their paid appearances.
