Some came to the NFL's Super Bowl XLIII sports card and memorabilia show just because it sounded like a fun thing to do. Get a few free autographs, browse the tables and take in the atmosphere in the days leading up to the game.

The league foots the bill for a number of signers to appear throughout the week leading up to Sunday night's game. It's the one chance collectors have to grab some autographs without having to pay what they might at a card show.

It's also prime feeding ground for those make a living--or at least a nice income--selling the autographs they get. Some are more than willing to put their kids to work, doubling the income opportunity, as illustrated in the Central Florida News 13 Super Bowl blog.
