Cowboys Holding Final Texas Stadium Sale

The turf is gone, the famous white stars around the stands have been sold off but there's a lot of stuff inside a stadium and the Dallas Cowboys haven't quite squeezed every cent out of the place yet.

This weekend, they're holding one final Texas Stadium farewell party with a lot of memorabilia up for grabs.

The sale/autograph event takes place February 21st and 22nd at the Texas Stadium Corral - located at Gate 8 behind the Texas Stadium Pro Shop.

According to a news release, the event is "designed to celebrate the rich history of Texas Stadium and to give valued Dallas Cowboys fans a chance to be the first to own a piece of that history".

Past and present players will drop by to share their favorite memories and sign autographs. Among the items that will be for sale: pieces of lockers, section, directional and concession signs, photos, banners, pieces of the goal posts and wall around the field, Texas, US and Cowboys flags flown during games and autographed memorabilia.
