Investing in Sport Memorabilia
There are many more people now seeking to build an investment portfolio via sporting memorabilia.
Top investment pieces now include
Muhammad Ali - Ali has now stopped signing memorabilia, due mainly to failing health, and therefore demand has risen dramtically during the last few months.
Jack Nicklaus - Remains a highly sought after name for collections.
George Best - While there still remain items signed by George within the memorabilia market place, the value and demand is increasing.
Tiger Woods - Only Upper Deck have full authority to issue official memorabilia in his name. Any other source must be independently verified.
Our top tip for 2007 - Invest in one off items. Pinflag can source any scorecard used by the pro golfers on the European Tour. Remember these are the actual scorecards, so include two signatures not one. Remember too that Tiger plays on the European Tour.
Prices vary depending on rarity of the issue, but expect to pay between £1500 & £5000 for anything signed by Muhammad Ali.
