Ali.com Opens Online Store

The company that handles Muhammad Ali's name will begin selling exclusive autographed memorabilia through The Champ's official website on January 17, 2008. 

According to the news release, "Ali.com offerings are based on requests that you and other Ali fans have made directly to Ali, and on what he and his team have observed in the marketplace." Items offered through the site will include books, posters and signed memorabilia that "highlight Muhammad Ali's personal history" and are authorized by Muhammad Ali Enterprises.

Ali's online store opens just four days before the release of greeting cards featuring photos and sound clips of the legendary boxer. The cards, produced by the American Greeting Corporation, are part of the company's Black History Month line. They will be on sale nationwide in grocery stores, drug stores and super centers for $2.99 each.

The opening of Ali’s online store will coincide with The Champ’s 66th birthday.
