Rice and Smith Just Hours From HoF Nod
February 5, 2010 on 11:41 am | In Memorabilia, Football |Just hours remain until two of the NFL’s all-time greatest are rightfully enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Two of the game’s most prolific offensive performers, Emmit Smith and Jerry Rice, have their names all over the NFL record books. Smith is the league’s all-time leading rusher, while Rice has more catches, yards and touchdowns than any receiver in history. Their autographed NFL items are the cornerstones of a serious memorabilia collection, and demand for both of the stars’ autographed football merchandise will likely skyrocket in the days after the announcement.

Along with Smith and Rice, a few of the other HoF-eligible players include receivers Andre Reed, Cris Carter and Tim Brown, tight end Shannon Sharpe and defensive lineman Charles Haley.
