TRISTSAR Productions is a group that specializes in holding autograph sessions for popular athletes at venues around the country. TRISTAR was founded in 1987 in Houston, Texas. The leader and visionary of the company, Jeffrey R. Rosenberg, wanted to create high-quality memorabilia shows with the best athletes in the world. There are a number of athletes who specifically sign for the company and who can be seen at their expos in different American cities. Some of their more notable sports stars include Roger Clemens, Kurt Warner, Bo Jackson and Ryan Sandberg. TRISTAR is also the only company to have a trading card agreement with the MLB that allows them to dip into the minor league player pool and get memorabilia from up and coming athletes. The majority of their website, Tristarproductions.com, is dedicated to autograph shows. They discuss the exclusive athletes that are going to be there, as well as merchandise that will be on display at the show. The website does have some memorabilia for sale, though the selection is mediocre and the caliber of athletes is not as great as some other websites. There were baseballs signed by obscure players many have never heard, such asTroy Patton (a young, successful minor league player, who one day could be a major player in the MLB, FYI). Overall, this site has more dedication to autograph shows than to selling merchandise online. However, selling minor league baseball autographed memorabilia could open doors for collectors who can spot future talent.
