Real Deal Memorabilia

RealDealMemorabilia.com specializes in autographs from the big four sports—that is, football, baseball, basketball and hockey. The overall layout of the site seems amateur. They do, however, sell a variety of interesting products including dual-signed items. One search for dual-signed merchandise pulled up an Urban Meyer and Steve Spurrier duel signed football and a Larry Bird and Magic Johnson duel-autographed picture. It is somewhat difficult to search for items by using a player’s name as a search term.  One search, which used LeBron James as a keyword, yielded no results. It was the same when other popular player, like Kobe Bryant and Tom Brady, were used as search terms. It is unclear if the site lacks the products to produce results, but one would think that the most popular players in their respective sports would have products on this site. Subsequent searches came up with results for players such as Barry Bonds and Reggie Bush. Compared to other sites, the product selection on Real Deal Memorabilia is minimal, but they do have products that are unavailable through other retailers.

Some of the product pages failed to load correctly.  An attempt to take a closer look at a Barry Bonds signed baseball bat, for example, ended when the browser reported a “fatal error” that prevented the product page from loading. There was on bright spot.  On the product pages that did load correctly clearly, one very clearly saw that Real Deal products came with a Real Deal Memorabilia certificate of authenticity (COA). Their website offers no return policy page and orders can’t be placed online, a customer must call or e-mail to place an order. This site may come off as novice to most, but if you’re looking for an obscure item, you may want to check out this site.
