Bigsports.com is a home base for sports and sporting goods, with quite a random selection of links to choose from.  Their mission statement states, “We empower individuals, organizations and businesses by providing unique up-to-date information. Our dedicated team of professionals strives to gather the most relevant content for our users.” Simply put, if you want information on football, world sports or soccer, they can provide you with links to news, people and memorabilia. Their tagline is, “Find something interesting.” Yes, you can find something interesting, but at the same time it is easier to just go to the source for your product needs. If you want memorabilia, it would be easier to type “memorabilia” into a search engine than to use Big sports.com as a directory. This site does however offer more links to international sports that sometimes get left out of other sites. Many sites don’t offer products or information about international soccer, but this site offers links foe people who are interested in international football merchandise or memorabilia. Overall, the site is very simple and easy to navigate. It is, however, an unnecessary middle-man when a customer can just go directly to the source for their sports news and memorabilia.
